Clear, Fixed Fees
I understand that legal costs are a real concern for many applicants, particularly with Home Office fees already so high. While I (sadly) cannot control Home Office fees, I aim to be transparent about my own fees so that you can make an informed decision.
My standard hourly rate starts at £225 plus VAT per hour, but I rarely charge on an hourly basis. In most cases, I can offer a fixed fee selected from the ranges below, so you know from the outset exactly what you will pay with no unexpected costs. As well as giving you certainty, fixed fees almost always represent a saving to the client when compared to time-based billing.
A fee outside these ranges will only be quoted where circumstances genuinely require it — for example, if a matter is unusually complex or urgent.
Discounts
Fees are fixed to provide certainty from the outset, and discounts are not available.
VAT
VAT is payable where the applicant is ordinarily resident in the UK, at the prevailing rate of 20%. Applicants resident overseas will not usually be charged VAT. Entry clearance applications will therefore generally fall outside the scope of VAT.
Personal Oversight and Use of AI
Your matter is handled by me personally from start to finish.
I do not rely on AI for any substantive legal work, as I have not found it sufficiently reliable for that purpose. I may use AI tools on a limited basis to assist with drafting or clarity, but all legal analysis, advice and decisions are my own.
